Jump-start your health with our safe, fun,
coach-led 4-week walking/running program.
This is a beginner walking or walk/run program with the goal of completing one mile at the end of four weeks. The program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. This is a great way to slowly bring exercise into your life (or start up again after a break) and can prepare you for our summer No Boundaries 5K program. The graduation race for this program is The Memorial Mile on May 29th.
When: Weekly training runs will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our first workout is May 2.
Where: The group will meet at Fleet Feet Sports Bloomington, 105 Krispy Kreme Drive and will walk / run on sidewalks from the store
Program Cost: $35 per participant
As part of the Make it a Mile program, participants will receive the following:
**A 4-week training program and calendar with workouts provided
**Twice-weekly coach and mentor-guided training sessions
**Access to coaches via email during the week
**Shopping specials for participants only
**A weekly email with training tips, nutrition and other educational information
**Dedicated support from the coach to answer individual questions and to keep you accountable to the program and to yourself
**The camaraderie of others with the same goal - making it to one mile at the end of four weeks!
