Cross-training - especially cycling - can be very beneficial to runners! You can strengthen your non-running muscles and help prevent injury. If you have a bike and a bike trainer, join us for our FREE Sunday Trainer Rides this winter. Rides will be led by local cyclists and all abilities are welcome. Again this year: we are partnering with our friends at Bloomington Cycle & Fitness to bring you an afternoon ride. Rides will be approximately 60 minutes, bring a bike trainer, large beach towel for under your bike and water bottle. Please arrive early to set up your bike in order to be ready to ride at the designated start time. All participants should bring their own bike trainer, but if you do not own one you can rent one for $5. At the end of the season all rental fees can be applied to the purchase of one of the rental trainers! Rides are limited to 15 participants and advance sign-up is required.
